Ubisoft has claimed its take on PC gaming, despite the controversy surrounding in the recent Watch Dogs release. It is no mystery that the title has erratic performance on the PC and that is very far from the E3 build shown, even with Ultra settings. Just to throw a little ‘fuel to the fire, a member of Guru3D – most lethal of Aiden Pearce – has found a hidden message in the code of the game, which present. In essence it is a comment on the settings of the shader, which sounds like “So it’s only for the PC, who cares.”

In the same file you see also comments on the Xbox One, which would have lowered some settings, possibly corroborating the theories of Digital Foundry, which had suggested a poorly optimized for the Microsoft.

That said, it is likely that the offending comment is just a joke of a programmer, or simply a colorful way to show how the PC version does not need gimmicks or “workaround”.
