REVIEW: YS:MEMORIES OF CELCETA!

YS Celceta Title

Hello fellow saiyans! I’m back and this time I have a glorious Vita game that has been ported to Playstation 4 and PC! That’s right… I’m talking about YS: Memories of Celceta. Now, the real question is does it lend itself well to console or is it a bust? Let’s dive in.

YS: Memories of Celceta

First lets talk about the Vita version of YS: Memories of Celceta because I feel we need to realize what we’re coming from and this is an instance where I got to experience it to an extent in its original form. The game was quite good on the Vita. The storyline was nice and the combat was very engaging, especially for a Playstation Vita game. The controls responded well and the entire experience was great. The port over to the Playstation 4 is still just as engaging as it was then. I was still waiting to see what was around every corner and the farther I got into the story, the more I wanted to find out.

The controls respond quite well as I was worried about it coming from a touchscreen to a controller. There was very little disappointment as they molded the controls quite nicely into the Dualshock 4.

YS: Memories of Celceta

The visuals in the YS: Memories of Celceta port are still quite stunning for its age and I still enjoyed the enemies as much as I did the first time. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not up to the quality of a PS4 game but if you know what you’re getting then you won’t be expecting that.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this port to the PS4 and would definitely recommend YS: Memories of Celceta to any YS fan and even those that just enjoy a good RPG. Just don’t expect mind-blowing graphics from this one. Final rating would be 9/10 as this one delivers very well! Pick it up and enjoy!!

Thanks for reading and as always Happy Gaming and keep on PRAISING THE SUN!!!!
