week in review

Hi everybody!!!

Boy has it been a super week with big news from YifanLu for the PlayStation Vita! We also have some Ape’s running around still but before we get into that, this past week we were privileged to have the first English interview with  JOETSU Electronics.

This awesome opportunity for Dessel to interview Hideki Fujikawa was a surprise and a wonderful chance for us to get to know more about this awesome company that is bringing us L2 & R2 triggers for PS Vita!

If you remember, we brought you this news in the post update on the L2 &R2 triggers for PS Vita and can’t wait to feel them in our hands.

You should check out the full interview here.

Also this week we saw some news on the PSM (PlayStation Mobile)  side of things thanks to YifanLu’s Blog. Here is what he had to say on his site:

“I think it would be wise for everyone (not just game developers) to sign up for an account (it’s free!), set up the developer assistant on their Vita, and run at least one sample application. If you don’t try this platform out and see what it has to offer, you might regret it.”

Now, I’m sure you want to find out more and we have you covered! Just check out this post PS Mobile Shutting Greatness Awaits Native Vita Hack Incomming.

As of posting this, if you haven’t already caught yourself an Ape you should!

Ape Escape Exploit Still On The Loose Has PlayStation Just Given Up?

So here are some facts about the Ape Escape exploit:
– The exploit was found by several people.
– It’s not in the ePSP blacklist.
– It doesn’t require a second device to trigger. (Yay!)
– It’s patchable (because it’s a normal savedata exploit).
– It works on both 3.36 and 3.50 (but you still won’t be able to create bubbles on FW 3.50).

– It’s US only.

Now if you’ve been under a rock you may not have heard but Rockstar Games has released “The Rockstar Editor” for the PC and has plans to bring it to PS4 and X Box one by summer.

With the PC you can do some really cool, fun and very odd mod’s. I found a video showing some of the best out there.

Here is a list of just a few of what is out there:

Play As an Animal Spawn Heist Vehicles
Endless Money Underwater Cars
North Yankton Improved Color
Field of View Hydraulics
License Plate
