So that means there’s some time for you to make sure auto updates are off or just take it offline if you like to run Homebrew on it anytime soon.

Just like the PS4 we where warned about updating the Switch passed FW4.1.0, especially if you like to run Homebrew and even CFW on it, one day soon. Even though some developers that have a bootrom exploit will probably like to see what they did or if Nintendo has done anything to the system, to really make any big changes. Now other developers like SciresM have told us plenty of times not to update passed FW 4.1.0 if you like to run CFW. The main reason for this is we might not see another public exploit release for a while and FW 4.1.0 could be the next FW to be on because we might not see any of those bootrom hacks for a long time. 😉 Plus its easier to stay on lower firmware as you can always update anytime later but downgrading a system, for right now, is not happening.
Friendly reminder: if you want eventual CFW, DO NOT UPDATE PAST 4.1.0, especially not before we know what's fixed. https://t.co/vwxjMuLHsb

Looks like we got a SoC revision,: https://t.co/q2FgWp7JGB
Might be a good time to pick up a console with a vulnerable bootrom 😉

So, for now, don’t update your systems and stay offline or do a proxy/DNS trick to block out the update but it best to stay offline.
