10Tons Ltd. is Back with Big News!

Our partners over at 10Tons Ltd just sent me an email with information that is too cool to keep in and told me that I could share it with our readers!

To give a little back story, here at Hackinformer we have been reporting on 10Tons Ltd’s games and testing them out too. But we’ve also shared with and encouraged you to go vote that you would play their games whenever they have one up for Steam Greenlight. Well, now one of their outstanding looking games, Time Recoil is going to released (and soon)! But first, let me get you as equally hyped about the game as I am with a little knowledge straight from the blurb on Steam.

‘Time Recoil is a top-down shooter by 10tons – the creators of Crimsonland and Neon Chrome. Kill to slow time, enter slow motion gunfights, and gain special moves. The satisfaction of punching through walls while time slows down is beyond words to describe – you must experience it yourself!’

And here’s an extended description of the game, straight from the team.

‘After the sprawling, lavishly featured shooters Neon Chrome and Xenoraid we wanted to make a more compact action game with a singular core mechanic. It’s working out beautifully in Time Recoil! The game is very easy and straightforward to get into, and simply a joy to play. The speedrun oriented time attack mode is a perfect addition for longevity.”

Time Recoil is a top-down shooter in which the player is granted a brief time slowdown powerup each time the player kills an enemy. The goal of the game is to string together multiple kills in order to stay in time slowdown mode. Additionally, devastating superpower-like special moves are granted by stringing together a set number of kills. The storyline revolves around a mad scientist dictator, Mr. Time, who has enslaved Europe, and a time traveling rebel organization fighting to stop him.’

And just look at the awesome, dope, and gnarly features that this game boasts!

• ‘Kill to slow time. Subsequent kills extend the slowdown duration and grant special moves.
• Devastating special moves. Starting with Dash to bust through walls and enemies, special moves grow to spectacular levels the more you kill.
• Kill Mr. Time. You are a member of a rebel organization aiming to kill Mr. Time, a mad scientist dictator with a time-based weapon of mass destruction. You must stop him in the past or you will lose the future.
• Travel through time. The Time Machine at the rebel base will take you to the past via a wormhole. Mission goals range from assassination to rescuing scientists. Expect the unexpected along the way…’
