Samurai Warriors comes to Dead or Alive 5 Last Round

Hey guys, Gaarasaiyan here bringing you some interesting news! Looks like Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be getting the Samurai Warriors treatment in the form of a new character, stage, and costumes. Crossovers are becoming more and more frequent these days for comics, TV, movies, and video games.DOA5LR_Logo

So it comes to no surprise we would see one for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. What does come as a surprise is that it would be Samurai Warriors. You would think they would bring in another fighting franchise in some sort of crossover like they did with Virtua Fighter, but it is welcomed. As a fan of both I’ll be trying out all that they bring from Samurai Warriors, and who knows, if they receive enough positive feedback from this maybe we will see some Dynasty Warriors content in the future. Maybe something that’ll catch us by surprise more than the Samurai Warriors inclusion altogether.

You all can purchase this new content on March 17 for  Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One, and on March 29 for PC via Steam. The Character Naotora Ii will be available to download for $5.99. Fans can purchase her debut costume pack for $7.99, or alternatively as a bundle for $11.99. The triumphant (and completely free) return of the Azuchi castle stage from DEAD OR ALIVE 3 will be available March 17. A brand new set of Samurai Warriors-inspired DLC costumes will become available for purchase on March 29. Fans who purchased the game’s Season Pass 3 will automatically receive all of the Samurai Warriors-inspired content. I have included a gallery below for those of you who wish to check out the upcoming content.

Until next time guys….

About Gaarasaiyan

Been gaming since I was 3 years old. I beat SMB for NES when I was 3 and continued to conquer games from then on out. My favorite console of all time would have to be the SNES. My favorite game would be a tie between The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Metal Gear Solid. I used to run support for Hyperkin's Game Genie for PS3 product on their official forums. I also used to write codes for the device. I'm now with another company on another device but I haven't been as involved as I'd liked to be. Time restraints & whatnot. I hope to continue my involvement with the gaming world in any way possible.
