Hey guys, just here to let you all know that there are a couple of upcoming titles from publisher and game developer Ubisoft you may be interested in picking up. I will touch a bit on each one, and each will get their own separate articles later on. First upcoming game we have is Far Cry Primal published and developed by Ubisoft. The game, in a phrase, looks stunning, and out of all the far cry games I have played I am excited for this one more than the others. The gameplay seems to focus around you taming different animals and using them and their abilities to complete your objectives. Far Cry Primal seems to expand even more or the Far Cry universe and how they are played. Giving the player free roam is one of Far Cry’s best features. Now though, with even more viscous predators you’ll have to be even more careful than usual. I am looking forward to this, and as it draws closer to release my hype only builds. Below is the official product description from Ubisoft’s Press Release:
The award-winning Far Cry franchise that stormed the tropics and the Himalayas now enters the original fight for humanity’s survival with its innovative open world sandbox gameplay, bringing together massive beasts, breathtaking environments, and unpredictable savage encounters.
Welcome to the Stone Age, a time of extreme danger and limitless adventure, when woolly mammoths and sabretooth tigers rule the Earth, and humanity is at the bottom of the food chain. As the last survivor of your hunting group, you will learn to craft a deadly arsenal, tame fierce predators, and outsmart enemy tribes to conquer the land of Oros and become the Apex Predator.
Far Cry® Primal will be available on PlayStation®4 system and Xbox One on February 23, 2016, and available on PC on March 1, 2016.
The second game, and probably more hyped, is Tom Clancy’s: The Division developed by Massive™ Entertainment.
The game is an online, open-world, Action RPG that puts you in the middle of chaos, to put it mildly. New York has been hit by a pandemic, and little by little civilization starts to crumble in the big apple. You, the player, are part of The Division, a classified unit of self-supported tactical agents. Sounds pretty bad-ass? Well, that’s because it is. The beta has ended at the time of this article. I did get to play it, and I loved it. I plan to tell you all about it in another article. The beta was so good, that I was sad to see it go. That’s alright though, the full game is set to release March 8th, 2016. I decided not to include the official product descripion for The Division as it pretty much repeats what I have already said. Both games will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
