The New 3ds just got the new Super Nintendo Virtual Console and a few games in the begin of March. A lot of people were quite disappointed that the old 3DS did not get the same treatment as the new 3DS. At first, I was even a little disappointed to but then once the 3DS homebrew community started to play around with the new SNES VC games they noticed something different about the way the new emulator ran and knew the old 3ds couldn’t do this ( well for now, as always if there’s a will there’s a way).
Someone started to dig around in the new SNES VC emulator and notice that Nintendo had left a list of games (mostly Japanese games) in the emulator’s binary. The text can be found in the binary’s code.bin in Shift-JIS and some of these titles were released, some were announced, and a few of the others were not. Here is the list that was pulled from the binary.

This might be not the first time you of heard of a game developers or companies leaving a little something extra in the game or systems code like the game Watchdog for example. Also, this might not be that big of news to you since most of these games were announced already but it’s still neat that someone was able to find this list of games in the new SNES VC for the new 3DS.
If any of the Fire Emblem SNES games come to US I’ll be happy.
I wonder why Nintendo did this. They’re watching our every move. They should’ve known not to leave this in here.
Actraiser?!?!!? Oh, I better see that in the US!
I want that game so bad, along with Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia! (never got to play that one)
