Good news everyone!
During today, the MOSEC (Mobile Security Conference) held in Shanghai, the Pangu Team has officially confirmed to be working on the jailbreak of iOS 8.3. But that’s not all: the hacker group has also offered a demo of the next jailbreak for iPhone that will be released shortly after the release of iOS 8.4 by Apple.
Although details refer poor, the release of the new Jailbreak should take place after the release of the final version of iOS 8.4 that, according to rumors, should take place in this month, probably already during the WWDC 2015.
According to preliminary information, Apple would release iOS 8.4 on June 8, shortly after the conclusion of the keynote presentation of the new iPhone OS 9 and OS X, but the company had decided to postpone the release of a few days. Now, in fact, it is expected to release in late June. iOS 8.4, we recall, includes a new music app that would better accommodate the new streaming service of Apple.
At the moment we do not know if the jailbreak of Pangu will be compatible with iOS 8.4, but there are chance that this could happen. Much more difficult, however, that the jailbreak will work on iOS 9 that, according to the latest rumors, would be “virtually impossible to unlock.”
Previously, Stefan Esser, better known as I0n1c, had demonstrated the jailbreak of iOS 8.4 running on an iPhone 6. In fact, it was iOS 8.4 beta 1.
As usual, I will keep you updated on any developments on my Twitter account darkamon.
