Each week we intend on bringing you some of the week’s best new tweaks for those of you running a jailbroken phone on iOS10.This doesn’t mean that the tweaks won’t be compatible for our brothers and sisters on lower firmware jailbreaks, it just means that will at least work on iOS10 and that will be our focal point for these weekly roundups.

There’s still no word on a 10.3 or an iOS 11 jailbreak, but if you keep your eyes on our Twitter page, you’ll be treated with the info if and when those jailbreaks come to life. Until then, let’s get onto this week’s tweaks!

  CarPlay Lockout (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

Ok, so, admittedly, our first tweak today does not exactly cover a massive user base of iPhone users. But if you happen to have a current iPhone, that happens to have a jailbreak, you also happen to have a car and that car also happens to have CarPlay, well then, listen up. The tweak is called CarPlay Lockout, but really it should be called No CarPlay Lockout. The reason I make this suggestion is because the tweak itself prevents Carplay from executing the lockout function on you. This is great because nothing is more frustrating than being locked out of the main reason you bought the damn car in the first place!

Browser Changer 10 (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

When enabling this grand tweak, Browser Changer 10, you can do what Apple does not let you do by default; change the dang browser! They’d have to know by now that the average user wants options, they keep adding and giving us options and that’s fine, but we hope they understand that it’s tweaks like this one that are the reason that people still jailbreak. But I digress, if you look above in the picture you’ll see it’s as simple as enabling the tweak, and then choosing which one of your other browsers that you have installed that you want various links from apps to open up in.

Torch on Focus (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

We already have a flash for taking pictures and we also have a fantastic camera. But the problem seems to be that if you’re in a low light setting and trying to take a picture, you can’t see what you’re trying to take a picture of until you snap the picture, the flash does its thing, and then you see if you like what you have or not. This tweak, Torch on Focus, is a little bit of a game changer. Now, you can run the LED light while trying to set up your picture and then when you press the shutter button the flash is already on anyhow and your picture is still taken as intended!

 TimeFormat (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

F.Y.A. Hack Instagram (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

Instagram is a fine app, I think we can all agree on that. But if you have Instagram on your phone and you use it a lot, you’ll notice there are some…issues. Well the tweak that we’re talking about now lets you fix those pesky issues. By letting you download video, save images, and hell, even save passwords for the app, you will find that it helps tremendously. The world is your oyster, bro!

  FullSafari (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

Again, I’m questioning the name of the tweak, more than the functionality of the tweak here. It’s called FullSafari, but in all actuality it simply lets you use more of what the iPad’s browser is made up of; tabs. Yes, it simply lets you have tabs on the screen, rather than having a task manager-esque windows type thing. But anyway, strange name or not, it’s a super useful tweak. And who knows, maybe it will have more features soon, to really make it feel like a FullSafari.

 S8Edge (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

We mentioned a tweak a few weeks back that gave you a Galaxy style screen animation when you plugged in your iPhone to charge. To keep with that theme, we present to you S8Edge. This tweak is simple, but lets you customize it to your liking. It simply rounds off the corners of your screen so that it appears as though that’s where the glass ends, but it also puts a light shadow down the right side of the screen, inferring a real curvature to your screen as if you had a Galaxy S8.

 Accelerated Unlock (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

Now this one is nuts. It takes away the time between your physical button press and the time that it takes to bring up the passcode/password screen. You might think, “That’s like 1 second.” and you might be right, but this removes that 1 second. This makes it a more seamless transition, something you had no idea that you were missing in your life.

 CCustomize (via BigBoss Repo/Free)

Now, I know that there are hundreds of tweaks to customize your Control Center. But this one is the newest in the bunch and I implore you to check it out. It not only does the typical stuff, such as removing certain graphical aspects, but it also has a fully fledged Dark Mode! This way you can finally have a native Dark Mode enabled Control Center. Even if you only get it for that alone, I wouldn’t blame you at all, because it’s fantastic!

Honorable Mentions (Tweaks that are also great!)

Colorgram

Tired of the white Instagram app looking boring as you scroll? You can now theme it with colors!
