How to get different region games from the Nintendo Switch eShop

The Nintendo Switch was released last week and this little Nintendo device is finally region free. Unlike all of Nintendo other devices, that have always been region locked. So this made things very hard on gamers wanting to use games from a different region. Luckily hacker found away around that on the Wii, Wii-U, & 3DS with the different exploits that could work to bypass region lock.

I got my Switch over the weekend and started to play with as soon as our beta tester would let go of it. I noticed that the Switch is just like the PS3 when it comes to having more than one account on the device and you can also access each different region eShop, just like the PS3 and PSN.

All you have to do is tap on the eShop icon, then setup a new user and pick what region that user will be using. Then you will get a email from Nintendo to setup the rest of the account. Once you have finished the account setup, just pick that user, then you will be able to access that region eShop. To get a few games/demos that have not hit the US market yet like Dragon Quest Heroes I & II, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and a few NeoGeo games.

If you like to buy some of these games from a different region and need to add funds to your account PlayAsia has all kinds of different eShop cards. You can get them here and don’t forget to use our coupon code: informer to save $3.00 dollars.
