Wii U and N3DS owners will have their pick of four titles tomorrow, including an early Nintendo DS classic and a few  Super NES games!!

Super Mario 64 DS will be making it’s way onto the Wii-U for $9.99. This DS launch title from way back in 2004 is sure to bring back some fond memories of days gone by while bringing a whole new group to the game.

And on the N3DS you will have the chance to kick some butt the old school way with  Street Fighter 2 Alpha, Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting and Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers.

All for the low price of $7.99 each and that’s not too shabby for some old beat em up joy.

So blow that thick layer of dust off that Wii-U and charge up your N3DS cause Thur Aug 25 is  going to be a good day indeed.

Thanks for reading and keep doing it for the love of the game.

  1. Final Fight is a beat-em-up. Street Fighter is a tournament fighter. Get it right.

The expression still is correct since you beat up your opponent. So I stand by what I said lol : { ) But yes Final Fight and others like it are “beat em up’s”.

    • You may stand by what you said, but you’re still wrong with the genre terminoology. If you want to go to the origin roots, Street Fighters and games like it are just ‘fighting’ games, whereas Final Fight etc are belt-scrolling action games.

I wasn’t referring to “genre terminology” I was referring to the act of beating up your opposition that’s all. LOL that is the joy I feel when playing a fighting game : { )
