First, I like to say thanks to CK3 for letting me test out this great product called the CronusMAX PLUS.
So what is the CronusMAX PLUS? It’s a little USB device, that will let you use almost any game controller on any game console. The CronusMAX PLUS is plug and play, right out of the packaging and doesn’t need a PC just to use it. Now with the software for the PC, you are able to add custom mods to your controller and much more. So just imagine an 88 Ultra Hit “Killer Instinct” Combo with one button. 🙂 Here is what Cronus Pro v1.00 software looks like and it’s very easy to use.
Now my experience with the CrousMAX PLUS was great, on the Xbox360, PS3, PS4, and PlayStation TV. There was no lag time in using the Xbox360 controller on the PS3, PS4, or PlayStation TV and vice a verse. What really surprised me was I was able to use my PS3 GT steering wheel with the Xbox360 and it had no lag time. The driving was spot on and it was really nice, being able to get more uses out of the GT steering wheel.
The CronusMAX PLUS also has Bluetooth support, but you will need a Bluetooth adapter to hook up to it. CK3 sells a very inexpensive Bluetooth Adapter for the CronusMAX PLUS. It’s manufactured in-house to give you the best compatibility with both the Dualshock 3 and Dualshock 4 at the lowest price possible. You can also use a keyboard & mouse with the CrousMAX PLUS, so if your a pc gamer and making the switch to a console this will make you feel right at home.
Now I didn’t get to test out the XBOXONE or Wii U Controllers on the CronusMaxx PLUS. I would presume that the XBOXONE controller would work fine for it, since the Xbox360 controller did such a great job. The Wii U controller, I have heard different things about it, but here is a link to the list of Compatible Controllers and Headsets.
I definitely would recommend the CronusMAX PLUS to anyone that wants to get more use out of their other controllers. So they are not just sitting around collecting dust or if you have that favorite controller and just want to use it on any system the CronusMAX PLUS is for you.
