The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase “May the Force be with you“—”May the fourth be with you”. Even though the holiday was not actually created or declared by Lucasfilm, many Star Wars fans across the world choose to celebrate the holiday. It has caught on so well that many company’s have some kind of sale on May 4th. Another great thing about this PSN sale is that you can download almost all the PSP Starwars titles on to the PSVita and PlayStation TV. Just a few days ago you couldn’t download them on to the PSVita or PlayStation TV without using a PS3 to transfer them. All the Starwars titles in the picture below work great on the PlayStation TV.
