The [Cobra Black Fin] got patched. (probably by new cartridge timing checks)*

System Software - 3.57 (January 20, 2016)

The [FailMail] trick is now completely patched. Trying to dump files from anywhere inside the [Email] application now results in dumping empty 0-byte files only.

A [PSPEmulator] Kernel Exploit was patched to block "eCFW(s)".

A [★Package Installer] Bubble on the Vita's LiveArea screen will be detected when updateing and get blocked from showing.* Additionally the way app icons are displayed in the notifications has been slightly changed.

System Software - 3.55 (September 30, 2015)

Executing "support_uri"-calls from within e-mails is now blocked. This quick-fixes the "FailMail" tricks.

Writing to the filesystem via the [MailWriter] trick / ".EML-files" within the [Email] application is now patched.

The LiveArea's page dots can now be themed.**

The custom ePSP "Re-Birth"-bubbles created by app.db modifications are now blocked.

Fixed the "GAMEDATA_ID" check for PSP content (key: 2454440077) to not allow ".." (folder-up) as input, which lead to changing the backup path and allowing to dump the whole memory card via CMA.



System Software - 3.52 (June 23, 2015)

The native PSM usermode exploit [Rejuvenate] is now blocked by revoking the Playstation Mobile service and [PSM] applications.

A [PSPEmulator] Kernel Exploit was patched to block "eCFW(s)".

Added more exploited PSP Games to the 1-Megabyte file-loading-limitation blacklist.**

"Custom ePSP Bubbles" are now patched. The exploit which lead to executing unsigned content by redirecting the execution path with an "&" character at the end of a folder has been fixed.

The "ms0:/PSP/"-folder* is now set read-only and can't be renamed anymore. Along with this the "advanced-folder-rename-trick" to modify the content of the GAME folder has been patched.

The "dot-trick" to create/rename EBOOT/PBOOT.PBP files is now patched.

The Webkit Exploit (CVE-2014-1303) is now patched.



System Software - 3.36 (January 14, 2015)

Renaming the ms0:/PSP folder to modify the contents of ms0:/PSP/GAME/ is now fixed. (This trick circumvented the write-restriction of the GAME folder. Aka "QSP trick")

The [PSPEmulator] was updated to version "6.61" (0x06060110 build: 2.0.3.1.0).

System Software - 3.30 (October 02, 2014)

Multiple [PSPEmulator] Kernel Exploits were patched to block "eCFW(s)".

The scene's "binary loader", to for example load the H.BIN file from savegames, is now patched to quick-block the multiple leaked [PSPEmulator] usermode exploits. See here

Additionally a 1-Megabyte file-loading-limitation blacklist for the mutliple leaked [PSPEmulator] usermode exploit games was added. And a 256-Kilobyte file-loading-limitation for all PS1 games was added.

The [★Package Installer] will now refuse from opening for normal CEX firmwares.

The Webkit Exploit (CVE-2012-3748) is now patched.

The lockscreen's clock position changed a little to the bottom-left because of the added theme support.

The "support_uri" "psgm:open?titleid=" used to open applications like the [★Package Installer] from the [Email] application will no longer work but return an error that "the application could not be found".



System Software - 3.18 (August 7, 2014)

Several [PSPEmulator] Usermode Exploits were patched and blacklisted. See here

Some UserInterface and Live-area changes were silently applied. (probably to get ready for Theme support)

This also fixes a bug which lets the statusbar disappear after ejecting a cartridge while in-game.

System Software - 3.10 (March 25, 2014)

Several [PSPEmulator] Usermode Exploits were patched and blacklisted. See here

Special restrictions were added to PSP Minis lacking network functions. These Minis are given less access to RAM (24MB of 32MB available) to prevent bigger files from loading and so blocking "eCFW(s)" and Homebrew loading.

Fixed executing custom [PSPEmulator] uri calls from the [Browser]'s address bar.



System Software - 2.50 (pre-installed on Vita Slim only)

An additional security-feature has been implemented that replaces all syscall NIDs in memory with a random number after analysing how "UVLoader" works. (aka NID poisoning)

Inside the [PSPEmulator], more changes were made to for example prevent allocating more memory. (blocking the TN-V High Memory feature for example)



System Software - 2.10 (April 09, 2013)

A [PSPEmulator] Usermode Exploit was patched and blacklisted. See here

The [PSPEmulator]'s "ms0:/PSP/GAME"-folder is now set to read-only.

Inside the [PSPEmulator], critical parts of the memory have been made readonly and the location of the flash files in RAM were changed. The memory will be cleared after each boot now to prevent inserting custom files and so block "eCFW(s)"

A security-feature has been implemented that randomized system calls in memory. (aka NID poisoning)



System Software - 2.06 (March 12, 2013)

A [PSPEmulator] Usermode Exploit was patched and blacklisted. See here

A JavaScript URL spoofing exploit in the [Browser] got fixed.

ASLR, NX-bits and other security layers were added.

Memory cards are now locked to a single account. You can no longer switch your account without formatting the installed memory card.
