Atmosphere 0.9.1 released with support for Nintendo Switch FW8.1.0

Once again Nintendo Switch FW 8.1.0 has been cracked in just of a matter of days and developer @SciresM has released Atmosphere 0.9.1 with FW 8.1.0 support. Now if you use other CFW it will probably be updated in the incoming weeks or less, so if you don’t use atmosphere you’ll just have to wait it out.

0.9.1 is Atmosphère’s nineteenth official release. The following was changed since the last release:

  • Support was added for 8.1.0.
  • Please note, emummc is still considered beta/experimental — this is not the inevitable bugfix update for it, although some number of bugs have been fixed. 🙂
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.
  • fusee-primary was last updated in 0.9.1.

With thanks to the @switchbrew team, Atmosphère 0.9.1 is bundled with hbl 2.1, and hbmenu 3.0.1.

Small logic error introduced in the last few days to fix an emummc bug would cause blackscreens on boot if emummc.ini didn’t exist (even for non-emummc). Fixed, if this was affecting you re-download the 0.9.1 release (or create a blank emummc.ini, I guess? :)) Sorry about that!

For information on the feature set supported by 0.9.0, please see the official release notes.
